Get Aurixite and Auralite moving
After the Stratacore objective, feed Florinol into the powered Synthesizer and send Aurixite to a Shaker. Keep the Auralite output separate. The September walkthrough reaches the Extractor unlock after producing 1,000 Auralite; use the research counter rather than the apparent size of the pile.
Let the Extractor form crystals
Place the Aura Extractor with open space for its field. It attracts Auralite and creates crystal growth. Confirm crystals appear before increasing the upstream feed; a large Auralite stockpile is not the same as extracted Aura.
Select the Extractor and drag the swarm target
Click the Extractor, then drag its swarm target onto visible crystals. Watch the Nanobots reach and consume the growth and the Aura counter rise. If crystals exist but the counter stays still, retarget the swarm before rebuilding the Synthesizer.

Upgrade toward automatic targeting
Spend Aura on the available swarm upgrades as progression allows. Swarm Zoning lets the swarm seek crystals automatically. September 13 footage shows that option at 7,500 Aura, followed by the 10,000-Aura objective and T7. Check the current research screen if a later build changes those thresholds.
Move the Extractor without the old restriction
Update 0.5.6 allows removal even after crystallization starts. Removed crystals are buffered and released as Auralite when the Extractor is rebuilt. Older advice that the building cannot be moved after crystallization is obsolete; after rebuilding, confirm the field and swarm target again.
Common questions
Why does the Aura field not saturate?
Trace Auralite, crystal formation, then swarm targeting. If crystals are waiting, adding more Auralite is not the missing action.
Can the swarm work automatically?
Yes, after the Swarm Zoning upgrade. Before that, direct it onto crystal growth.
