Production flow
Prepare the factory and player loadout
Finish the preceding objective and leave the factory in a state that can run or stop safely while you travel. Empty critical output bins, close unstable material feeds, and charge the strongest available energy storage.
Bring a digging weapon that can remove dense growth, plus enough energy to open a path and return. The Laser works against many layers in the observed route but drains power quickly. Carry a lower-cost tool for ordinary terrain instead of spending Laser energy on every tile.
- Charge Power Bricks before leaving.
- Stop factory inputs that still need manual clearing.
- Bring the tools shown by the current objective.
- Create a visible route back to the main shaft.
Follow the objective arrow, not fixed coordinates
Open the Map using the current key binding and follow the yellow objective arrow toward the event. The world is procedurally generated, so another player's direction or depth does not provide a reliable route in your save.
Check the arrow again after crossing a large cavern or detouring around hard terrain. Build small visual markers at branch points so retreat does not depend on reopening the Map during combat.
Open a safe approach to the Strataform
Clear enough surrounding terrain to see the event growth and choose an approach. Avoid dropping straight into the center. A side route with solid footing gives you room to recharge, change tools, and remove material without sealing the exit behind you.
The growth can rebuild or block movement in the observed event. Widen narrow passages before committing to the center and remove traps where the player can be pinned between regrowing material and indestructible terrain.
- Keep the return tunnel open and lit.
- Clear a standing area outside the active growth.
- Do not fire continuously into a layer the current tool cannot remove.
Reach and neutralize the center
Work toward the center in short pushes. Remove the next blocking layer, step back to confirm the exit remains open, then continue. Use high-energy tools for the dense material that requires them and recover power between pushes.
When the center becomes reachable, clear enough room to interact with or destroy the objective without standing inside a closing path. Follow the current objective feedback to confirm neutralization before leaving the site.
Confirm the reward and research unlock
After neutralization, check the toolbox for the Fluxbound Stratacore and the research path for the Synthesizer. The observed reward can be placed as a renewable Sand source and opens the route used by the Aura chain.
Place the first Stratacore in a controlled area away from mixed-material storage. Watch where Sand appears and provide a clean collection route before leaving it active.
- Verify the toolbox entry before returning to the factory.
- Check that the Synthesizer path is available.
- Test the placed reward with empty receiving space.
Recover if the event attempt fails
Retreat through the prepared tunnel before energy reaches zero. Recharge, reopen any blocked segment from the safe side, and return along the objective route. Repeatedly entering through a narrow damaged shaft costs more energy than widening it once.
If the objective no longer points to the event or the reward does not appear, confirm the event state in the current build before rebuilding the factory around an assumed unlock.
Common questions
How do I find the Stratacore event?
Follow the current objective and its yellow Map arrow. Procedural generation makes fixed coordinates unreliable.
What do I get for completing it?
The Fluxbound Stratacore is added to the toolbox and the Synthesizer path is cleared.
What does the placed Stratacore do?
The supplied progression footage describes it as a renewable Sand source.
