Build the first Gold line around Water

Send dry Sand through Water before it reaches the Shaker. Keep the Water contact point, Wet Sand route, and Shaker input visible during the first batches. Recycle dry Sand upstream instead of allowing it to rest on the machine.

Give the Shaker output enough fall space for Gold and Residue to leave. A blocked Residue pile can stop the same early line that produces your research currency, so build its storage or processing route before increasing Sand input.

Watch the Water level while filling the first Gold bin. The stable rate is the amount your Water supply and output space can sustain, not the maximum Sand you can dump into the shaft.

  • Filter dry Sand back into Water.
  • Keep Wet Sand on the Shaker route.
  • Reserve separate space for Gold and Residue.
  • Stop input when either output touches the machine.

Turn Residue into the second Gold source

Burn Residue into Burnt Residue with a controlled heat source. Verify the state before feeding the Kinetic Press, then use a pre-filter that admits only Burnt Residue to the drop path.

The Press produces Gold and Seed. Open both outputs before starting a continuous batch. Seed is valuable for the plant chain, but a full Seed bin can block Gold production if the two products share the same receiving space.

  • Burn a visible test pile first.
  • Keep unburned Residue on an overflow route.
  • Give Burnt Residue enough drop clearance above the Press.
  • Store Seed away from the Gold basin.

Collect the Flower Gold byproduct

Burning Flowers produces Gold with Amethelis. Let Gold take a protected lower route while the lighter petal material moves toward storage or the Steam dryer. Do not send the mixed output directly into the next room.

The plant line adds another Gold source but also introduces Wet Seed, growth, heat, and petal sorting. Stabilize the Planter Box before treating this source as research income. A jammed plant room can consume time and Water while producing nothing.

Join Gold sources without joining their failures

Use separate local bins for Shaker Gold, Press Gold, and Flower Gold, then merge clean Gold into the main storage route. Local bins reveal which module stopped and prevent one full central belt from backing up through every producer.

Build an overflow or manual pickup area before the final merge. If the main basin fills during exploration, Gold should stop in a visible buffer instead of spreading into Seed, Residue, or Amethelis lanes.

  • Keep each producer's byproduct on its own route.
  • Merge only clean Gold.
  • Leave a visible overflow at the central storage input.

Clear a Gold backup from output to input

Stop all three inputs, then empty the central Gold storage and shared belt. Clear each local Gold bin, followed by Seed, Residue, or Amethelis at the producing module. Restart one source at a time.

If the backup returns, the first module to stop identifies the limiting route. Increase that output or reduce its input before expanding the central storage again.
